An 899 c.c. Ducati Panigale is due to come?

There are spreading rumors on the internet about a new “mini ” 899 c.c. L-twin (V2 90˚)  Panigale which is due to be presented later this year at the Eicma motor show in Milan.

The rumors specify that the new engine should deliver 155 bhp/11500 rpm. The swingarm should also be double sided, banana type. It seems that this will be a sporty, road oriented bike instead of a fully committed track/road bike like the Panigale 1199.
