A fictional idea for the new Ducati Monster 1198
She is definitely looking like a taller Diavel!
Scoop: The 2014 Ducati Monster 1198
Its 20 years now since the introduction of the Monster and some interesting improvements are planned for the top of the range.
The engine will be liquid cooled, the manifold and exhaust are similar to the Diavel, while a single sided swingarm is equipped. It is reminded that the Testasrtetta engine delivers 150 bhp in the case of the Diavel, although a milder state of tune or an equivalent electronics package would be possible for the Monster.
Thus the new Monster could be somewhat softer than the take-no-prisoners riding of the Streetfighter S.
