Bridgestone Corporation announced the February 1, 2013 global sales launch (first in Japan, then USA, Europe etc) of the BATTLAX SPORT TOURING T30 - a series of radial motorcycle sport touring tires. The series will be marketed in 10 sizes for front use and 13 sizes for rear use. 
     Bridgestone is claiming that the Bridgestone Battlax T30 tires will boast improved handling and better dry grip over the Current Bridgestone Battlax BT-023. 　
  
     The Bridgestone BATTLAX SPORT TOURING T30 is designed for use on medium- to large-size motorcycles. Designed for smooth handling and rider enjoyment, the series will feature new patterns and a new compound at the front. The tires are designed for optimum road "hugging" properties and rigidity, dry grip and other handling characteristics. An overview of this product series follows. 

     At the meantime, the nine times world champion Valentino Rossi has extended his agreement for 2013 with Bridgestone Europe to act as Motorcycle Tyre Development Adviser. 
     As under the previous agreement, Rossi and Bridgestone will work together to promote the passion of motorcycling to bikers and enthusiasts throughout Europe, directly supporting the Bridgestone Ątrack to streetą concept. 
     Rossi will act alone as a professional rider; his MotoGP™ team and sponsors are not involved in the deal.
