A prototype of the new Lightning LS-218 was showcased at the Quail motorcycle gathering in USA this weekend. The bike is designed by Glynn Kerr and the looks are gorgeous. The LS-218 features Brembo brakes, Ohlins suspensions. This bike is a road version of the racing electric bike and the electric engine delivers 200 hp and 23.22 kgm torque! 
Lightning has set a new land speed record for an electric bike with a top speed of 216 mph (347.5 km/h) in 2011 and it was the first electric bike to win a race from conventional bikes in 2013 Pike˘s Peak.
