Following Suzuki¢s will to return to the grid in 2015, Aprlia intends to be racing with a Factory bike in 2016. Aprilia is expected to make some wildcard appearances in 2015, whilst by 2016 the regulations will be common for the category, very close to the 2014 Open specifications. 
The current Open motoGP Aprilia¢s bike which is the Iodaracing ART being ridden by Danilo Petrucci has been evolved by the WSBK Aprilia Factory bike, which again is based on the RSV4.
