This ridiculous standard silencer is mounted on the Panigale 899 bikes (these are among the prettiest sport bikes) sold in Japan so that the bike meets the noise regulations. The owners can change the can after the purchase of the bike, so it’s their responsibility… No need to ask how long did the Italian engineers work to solve the problem! It would be even faster to come down with a 4” thick water pipe!
