Suzuki GSR 600 ABS (2006-2011): Can be distinguished, by design.

Engine: Very linear without any hesitation at the power output, in the whole power band. Torque starts at 2500 rpm and the electric feeling power delivery continues up to the rev limiter at 14000 rpm. Very powerful at the top, 98 bhp nominal value.
In town the bottom end range up to 5000 rpm is adequate for everyday use. For fast riding revs should be kept higher than 8000 rpm. Because there are not any steps at the engine output, the above figures of 5000 and 8000 rpms are just indicative and depend on the rider and road conditions.

Ïn the road: On town rides feedback is good, as well as comfort in riding. Gsr is more than adequate and agile for everyday use, centre of gravity is relatively high. The weight is obviously increased compared to its 600c.c. rivals. There is a linkage at the rear suspension which is an advantage, compared to other makes.
Ôurning radius could be greater. Combined with the increased width of the motorbike, this doesn't allow the Gsr to take advantage of minor gaps in traffic. However riding position is very comfortable.
Out of town handling is neutral and again it is defined by nice feedback and comfort. When riding in the fast mode, the weight and steering geometry  favor stability. However this affects instant direction change, resulting in an excess inertia feeling.
The ABS brakes are adequate for anything that the city road will throw at the bike.

Comments: Top speed is great, although for a naked bike, this is almost like the useless information for this week. Gsr's design makes it look like a bigger bike and stand out of the crowd, however this cannot be said for all the aspects of this bike.
