Suzuki GSXR 600 K9 (2008-2010): The civilian

     Engine: Its very linear without any noticeable hiccups or bursts. Seems relatively weak at low – mid range, as a result rider has to keep the revs higher than 10000rpm to ride fast. From 10 to 14000 rpm very powerful for the category standards, 125 nominal top bhp. At the right handlebar there is a 3 mode power restriction switch.
      Riding position:
Riding position is neutral and comfortable for a supersport 600, making town rides and trips a procedure that will not stress the rider. The GSX-R is a light and agile motorbike, featuring firm suspension.
     On the road : As a result of the above, on town rides the only serious disadvantage will be the little turning radius.
     Out of urban areas rider will have to trust the exact in feedback and relatively heavy feeling front end in order to ride very fast wherever the ride is. As the pace gets faster, the previously described comfortable riding position becomes a disadvantage. Close to the limit, usually the rear wheel will initially tend to slide providing very good feedback and control.
     Brakes are progressive with adequate feeling.
Together with good air protection for this category standards , the GSX-R has an all around character, combining town rides, trips and track.
