The starting price in India will be Rs 2.05 Lakhs on road Delhi price. The bike will be available also in yellow color. Additionally a video was released by Royal Enfield: Ace Café to Madras, where three riders perform an 11000 km trip from Ace Café London to Madras, India.

The Royal Enfield Continental GT was launched today at Ace Café, London, UK.


This is the lightest, most powerful and fastest Royal Enfield ever. The styling is pure café racer. The air cooled, single cylinder 535 c.c. produces 29 bhp/5100 rpm and 4.5 kgm/4000 rpm (32.45 ft lbs/4000 rpm) torque, claimed figures. The wet weight is 184 kgs (405.65 lbs). Thus the bike complies with A2 riding license norms. 

A 41mm fork is equipped  at the front and twin Paioli shocks at the rear. The wheelbase is quite short at 1360mm (53.54 in), the size of the tyres is 100/90-18 front and 130/70-18 rear. The chassis is the result of the cooperation between Royal Enfield and Harris Performance. A 300 mm single disc is equipped at the front and a 240 mm at the rear. 

The pillion seat is optional. The Ace café is the place that the café racer tradition started, roughly in 1955. The launch of the bike in India which is the manufacturing country, is expected in about a month.
