Piaggio Fly is the global scooter from Piaggio, completely reborn. The low saddle is comfortable and provides easy seating for riders of any height, as well as concealing a spacious helmet compartment.
The fuel tank has been placed under the footrest, which permits 2 demi-jet helmets with visors to be accommodated under the seat. Fly is equipped with two stands, one of which has an ignition inhibitor.

The compartment in the back shield can be used to store day to day items (wallet and mobile phone), while the convenient bag-hook folds out of the saddle; last, but not least, the wide footrest allows larger objects to be transported.
The luggage carrier, which also serves as a hand grip for the passenger, provides the possibility of installing a spacious top box as well.

 FRAME AND SAFETY
The Piaggio Fly frame is completely new. The new Fly has an hydraulic telescopic fork with 32 mm stanchions while the rear wheel works on a mono shock absorber. Tubeless tyres are equipped (120/70-12 on the front and back).

The braking system is made up of two large diameter discs (220 mm) on both the front and rear for the 125cc version. The 50cc engine maintains the 220 mm disc on the front which is ably assisted by the 140 mm diameter drum brake which stops the rear wheel.

 ENGINE
The new Piaggio Fly has two single-cylinder, air-cooled engines, both 4-stroke, in 125 and 50 cc versions characterised by high fuel economy.

The 125 cc is characterised by a 3 valve timing system, (2 intake and 1 exhaust) single overhead cam and electronic fuel injection.
The result is a range that can exceed 50km/l at a constant speed of 50kph. The major maintenance schedule intervals have been taken to 10,000 km in order to further reduce operating costs.

The 50 cc 4-stroke, 4 valve engine fed by a carburettor, delivers 4.3 bhp at 8,250 rpm.
