The new three-wheeler Peugeot Metropolis 400 is on the way to the showrooms. It will be launched on May 2nd at the French network!

The flat floor, the aluminum frame, tire pressure sensors, keyless system, combined brakes and the navigation system are unique features so far in this segment.

New rival for the Mp 3s. A flat floor three wheeler.

The Metroplis will be presented at the Paris car motor show. Step through design featured. The 400 c.c. engine delivers 35 bhp, top speed is close to 150 km/h (93 mph).

There is an electric-hydraulic suspension block system lever actuated only at a very low speed and a handbrake which should be electric.

The brakes are combined: The right lever on the handlebar activates the front brakes while the left one combines front and rear brakes. A foot brake pedal activates the whole braking system.

The styling is affected by the car sector, like the LED headlamps and the air induction resembling to a car.

A keyless system is equipped to start the engine or to open up the boot which provides the room for a full face helmet.

Additionally a jet helmet may be stored underneath the saddle. The seat height is low, 780 mm (30.71 in.), the screen may be adjusted within a range of 130 mm (5.1 in).

GPS and tyre pressure monitoring are optional equipment.

The weight is 258 kg nominal which looks increased. However the step through design is expected to make it a very usable three wheeler.

The dimensions of the wheels are 12 inches at the front and 14 inches at the rear.
