After the acquisition of Husqvarna by Ktm earlier this year, the future of the originally Swedish firm seems bound in the path of Ktm: India and KtmĒs partner Bajaj, will once again play a key role to that.

Husqvarna will launch an entry-level dual purpose bike, which will be built by Bajaj.  It will be powered by a single cylinder engine which should be the one of the Duke 200.
Initially the new motorcycle will be launched in India, although it is pretty certain that it will be sold in many countries around the world at a very competitive price to other dual-purpose bikes. More variants will be introduced in the future.
Hypothetically speaking, since the Duke is a solid basis to step on, the procedure to follow could be simple, almost: Dual purpose wheels, longer suspensions travel, smaller front disc brake and that Trellis frame seems too much…
Eventually it seems that some more of European  production lines are moving  to India…
